OneLife Suffolk are commissioned by Suffolk County Council to deliver the Integrated Healthy Lifestyle Service across the county.

That means we work every day to help people to make healthy behaviour changes in an accessible, friendly and fun way! We know that one size doesn’t always fit all and that is why we have developed our own psychologically-informed services to encourage our clients to make healthy choices that we are confident they can maintain. We are non-judgemental and we take pride in all of our services which include Stop Smoking clinics, Weight Management for Adults and Children, encouraging increased levels of Physical Activity, taking Health Walks and offering NHS Health Checks.

Due to the expansion of OneLife Suffolk we need to recruit to a number of new posts so that we can continue delivering amazing services to Suffolk residents after all, we are here to serve our local community.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead will take a leading role in ensuring that the work of OneLife Suffolk reaches out and engages with communities of focus:

  • BAME
  • Faith communities
  • LGBTQ+ communities
  • People with learning difficulties and/or Autism
  • Travelling Communities

The post holder will ensure that the above communities are fully engaged with the work and programmes on offer from OneLife Suffolk. The post holder will need to build strong working relationships and influence activities, including working across and outside of the organisation to improve our services and programmes. These relationships will include working with the CCG, GP practices, Suffolk County Council Public Health Team, health provider partners, Suffolk GP Federation, voluntary sector and community groups. The post holder will be responsible for referral generation into OneLife Suffolk programmes from the above communities of focus. There is a responsibility to report on any adaptions to services required to meet the needs of these communities. We are looking for a community led approach to ensure engagement and retention in our programmes and services.

Digital Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to play a key role in the development and maintenance of OneLife Suffolk’s online and digital marketing platforms.

The role is based in Ipswich but travel across Suffolk will be required. (Remote working during COVID-19)

You will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and regular review of all marketing content creation. You will report to the Marketing and Communications Manager and will also be part of the wider MoreLife Marketing Team.

The role focuses on digital marketing and content creation with a heavy emphasis on graphic design, website content, video creation, blogs, vlogs and social media activity. The post holder will have a flair for being creative when designing artwork. You will also be required to attend events as a representative of OneLife Suffolk.

This is a hands-on role and you will have responsibility for the day-to-day implementation of the marketing strategy including the planning and creation of all required content to support our programmes and Public Health – you therefore must have experience of having successfully delivered marketing programmes to agreed targets and with significant results and not be afraid to get your hands dirty!

2 years + experience across a variety of marketing channels is essential.
