Health Walks are suspended until further notice.
On Monday 4th January, the government announced a national lockdown. Details about what this means for you and your family can be found at www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home
Here at OneLife Suffolk we will remain open but some of our services may be delivered differently. Sadly this means that Health Walks are suspended until further notice. The government guidance states that you can leave your house for exercise once per day and you should not travel outside your local area.
You can exercise in a public outdoor place:
- by yourself
- with the people you live with
- with your support bubble (if you are legally permitted to form one)
- in a childcare bubble where providing childcare
- or, when on your own, with 1 person from another household

Although our Health Walks are currently suspended, we still want to encourage you to get outside, get some fresh air and go for a walk!
The Health Walks Facebook group is a place for you to share your favourite walks in Suffolk, as well as how far you have walked and any photos you took on route. It is also a great way of staying motivated to get active and you can discover new places to walk based on other people’s suggestions!

Why not join our Walk and Talk Campaign
Although our Health Walks are currently suspended, we still want to encourage you to get outside, get some fresh air and be active. Walking is not only good for your physical health, but it can also reduce stress and feelings of isolation.
Maybe you have a neighbour who is living alone who would appreciate some company? Perhaps you and your household would benefit from some time outside?
