Some of the team have created a 10 minute Low Intensity Workout Video that has been shared on Facebook and can also be found by following the link.

“Children and young people should be active for at least 60 minutes per day & Adults should be active for 150 minutes per week.”

Ipswich Anglo Scottish Society 

The society co-ordinates classes and dances for Scottish Country Dancing in Ipswich and the surrounding area.

Several, very friendly and energetic groups in the area run classes and dances for all capabilities and will give you a very warm welcome.

Scottish Country Dancing is great fun. It’s very sociable, is danced by young and old alike all over the world, and is good exercise for both body and mind to boot!  Newcomers will be made most welcome whether new to dancing or with some experience. It is not necessary to bring a partner to the classes or the dances, as it is normal to change dancing partners several times during an evening. No special clothes are required, just a pair of soft shoes.
