NHS Health Checks

An NHS Health Check is a world-leading prevention programme with almost 1.5millon people having the check every year. Anyone between the ages of 40 – 74 are eligible for a Free NHS health check, health checks are a free check-up of your overall health.

It can tell you whether you’re at higher risk of getting certain health problems such as diabetes, heart disease or stroke.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to assess your risk of developing any potential problems & help you to maintain or improve your health.

Grant funding to lower sugar intake in children and young people still available!

As we start to approach the end of #SugarAwarenessWeek, let us know what changes you have many in your diet to cut down on the amount of sugar you consume. Have you stopped having fizzy drinks? Cut down on the amount of chocolate you eat? Or something else altogether?

Resist the urge to sit at your desk this lunchtime.

Take a break. Go for a walk and stretch your legs.
