Digital Marketing Assistant

The role has a primary emphasis on digital marketing and content creation with a heavy emphasis on website content, video creation, blogs, vlogs and social media activity. The post holder will have a flair for being creative when designing artwork and copywriting. You will also be required to attend events as a representative of OneLife Suffolk.

This is a hands-on role and you will have responsibility for the day-to-day implementation of the marketing strategy including the planning and creation of all required content to support our programmes and Public Health – you therefore must have experience of having successfully delivered marketing programmes to agreed targets and with significant results and not be afraid to get your hands dirty!

Experience across a variety of marketing channels is essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

• Deliver strategic marketing plans and management of MoreLife content creation
• Take a role in implementing the Digital strategy
• Co-ordinating all aspects of digital campaigns and ensuring alignment with operational resources. Monitor and report on outcomes
• Manage social media accounts, create, find and develop social content
• Write content for website, leaflets, blogs, press releases etc.
• Creating a wide range of different and appropriate marketing resources for the promotion of our services including video and podcasts
• Ensuring compliance with the OneLife and MoreLife brand’s and corporate identity
• To support an active programme of service evaluation and client feedback to inform programme and content development
• To support the development and content of the OneLife Suffolk Club support and maintenance programme
• Working within the allocated budget
• Working closely with outside agencies to ensure effective and efficient outcomes
• Working closely with local and national media
• Work closely with Suffolk County Council Public Health and commissioners and other stakeholders on digital and content activity and support on four of their campaigns per year

 

General

• To positively promote access to the OneLife offer and the aims and objectives of the OneLife service.

• Monitor own activity, engagement work, campaigns and events, as well as referral numbers to ensure programmes and activities meet necessary needs of stakeholders and commissioners and demand.

• Collate feedback from our stakeholders and service users. Support production of analytical reports with the focus on furthering the development of the healthy lifestyle behavior programmes and team.

• To keep accurate records of work.

• To attend team meetings and contribute to the performance improvement process and other meetings as requested and appropriate. This includes attending monthly 1:1 meeting with your line manager, and team meetings, with the following focus:
o OneLife Performance Targets – understand own contribution to agreed performance targets in line with KPI’s;
o KPI’s – individual achievement against contractual KPI’s

• To manage and organise own time and activities responding effectively and in a timely manner to all work.

• To take an active part in developing own knowledge and skills and seek advice and support as and when necessary.

• Adhere to organisational policies and procedures.

Clean Driving Licence is essential

Skills and Knowledge:

• Excellent IT skills
• Good HTML/WordPress skills minimum of 1 years’ experience
• Good Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
• Good knowledge and experience of Google Analytics
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Exceptional organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• High standard of literacy and numeracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain a positive attitude to Health and Safety in carrying out duties with special emphasis on the environment and safety of the individuals within MoreLife.

DESIRABLE
• Experience of working in health/wellbeing
• Experience of video creation and editing
• CIM or equivalent qualification in marketing

ESSENTIAL

• Social Media Marketing -1 year essential
• Adobe Photoshop and InDesign -1 year essential
• All round marketing experience- 1 year minimum

Active Lifestyle Practitioner (West Suffolk)

To deliver the GH2GA service in a designated cluster area of Suffolk to ensure delivery of the KPIs. To work as part of the Active Lifestyle Practitioner team to promote the service and create referral links with a range of partners including Leisure Providers, voluntary organisations and community groups. To work with clients and deliver a Psychologically Informed group programme to run alongside community Physical Activity Interventions.

As an NHS Health Check practitioner, other responsibilities will include 

  • Promote the service and create signposting/referrals pathways, creating links with a range of partners including Leisure providers, voluntary organisations and community groups.

 

  • Ensure the GH2GA Digital offer meets the requirements of the services and work closely with the Active Lifestyles practitioner Lead and Data Analyst and Systems lead to ensure data is recorded in a timely way.

 

  • Liaise closely with the Active Lifestyles Practitioner Lead to ensure the curriculum for Psychologically Informed group support is effective and well received by the clients.

 

  • Continually develop local knowledge of PA opportunities that are available in both urban and rural areas and through self-directed and/or organised activities ensure clients receive up to date signposting/ referral to services.

 

  • Increase targeted support and activities to those with the lowest levels of engagement in PA, ensuring there is a joined-up approach to providing services to those who are most in need, maximising the outcomes and benefits of incorporating PA services as part of a whole system approach to long term behaviour change

 

  • Embed clear referral pathways between primary and secondary care and OneLife Suffolk, ensuring there is a seamless pathway that supports signposting and onward referrals to appropriate local PA opportunities

 

  • Implement successful partnership working between relevant organisations to improve long term success and sustainability of the service.

 

  • Work with clients who meet the eligibility criteria to help them achieve long-term sustainable behaviour change goals ensuring that is psychologically informed and focused on self-care.

 

  • Support primary care professionals in understanding and providing appropriate brief interventions to those at risk from sedentary lifestyles and ensure a clear referral process is in place.

 

  • Maximising service uptake by establishing and maintaining relationships and referral routes with primary and secondary care practitioners.
  • Working with clients to identify their health needs, motivation and preferred activity types for onward referral/signposting and therefore maximising the likelihood of clients increasing their PA either independently or with support through an organised activity or with individualised psychologically informed approach.

 

  • Supporting sustainable long-term behaviour change with respect to PA, by using innovative integrated technology, social media and appropriate and innovative strategies relevant to the population.

Outreach NHS Health Check Practitioner (Maternity cover)

An NHS Health Check is a screening for 40 – 74 year olds which assess an individual’s cardiovascular risk and aims to identify any early signs of long term conditions such as Stroke, Type 2 diabetes and Heart Disease. The NHS Health Check Practitioner is responsible for taking measurements, including cholesterol, blood pressure and weight. If you have a passion for supporting local people to live healthier lives, we are recruiting for an NHS Health Check Practitioner where full training will be provided. This role will be predominately for the Ipswich and East area of Suffolk although the flexibility to cover work in the West Suffolk and Waveney area may be required.

As an NHS Health Check practitioner, other responsibilities will include:

  •  Engaging with a range of Voluntary, Community, & Faith sector (VCF) and Health & Social Care Professionals, as well as communities and localities, to identify groups and clients who may benefit from the NHS Health Check but who may not traditionally engage with health promotion activities or NHS services.
  • Work with these groups and the Health Check Team to deliver the NHS Health Check to identify people at risk of cardiovascular disease in communities which have identified health inequalities.
  • Provide agreed health improvement advice to all clients identify those who will benefit from signposting to health lifestyle interventions via the OneLife service, as well as the client’s General Practitioner as per agreed protocols.
  • Improve the uptake of the OneLife services via the NHS Health Check route.
  •  Promote the equality and value the diversity of individuals.

Health Walk Coordinator – East Suffolk

Psychology Lead

The Psychology Lead will be responsible for the clinical supervision of the delivery teams. They will ensure that the programmes are delivered to the highest standard to achieve positive outcomes for the individuals involved, in a cost-effective manner.
