Coronavirus – the latest Ramblers advice (29 May)

Published: 29th May 2020

We want to make sure you are up to speed with Government guidance and our position about COVID-19.
In the last 24 hours, changes to guidance have been announced in England, Wales and Scotland. Significantly, in England government has announced its intention to increase the number of people who can meet up outdoors. However official guidance on the detail is yet to be published

Importantly, whilst we appreciate these announcements and easing of lockdown could be seen as a green light for some activity to restart, we must reiterate that for now Ramblers Walking for Health group walks and activities remain suspended until further notice.

If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please do get in touch.

From Wednesday 18th March we are suspending all Health Walks for Health activities – including group walks, social activities and other meetings.  All these activities must stop until further notice.  This also applies to Walk Leader training sessions, these will be suspended immediately until further notice.
